My daughter decided that she really wanted the opportunity to celebrate with her friends, so it was back to the drawing board! I met with Jenny Platzman of Artscroll Print artscrollprint to design the invitation, and they just took the idea and ran with it! Their team of designers came up with this unique graphic which we printed on one side of the square invitation, with event details, along with paint splatter on the other side.
There were painted coloring book drawings on the envelope lining as well — the whole thing was just so unique, creative, and just US. Jenny was so incredible to work with. She took initiative and sent gentle reminders to me throughout the process which really got me moving amid my crazy schedule.
I keep reminding her that I would have never been able to pull it all off without her help, she just went way beyond the call of duty and was helpful in so many ways. They took the concept of the black and white sketches with the colorful paint and translated it to the tablescape — with striped tablecloths from DSquared5t and flowers by boutiqueliliane.
Custom ladders, paintbuckets, brushes and photos rounded out the design.

Since the Bas Mitzvah was dessert—themed, we had to up the ante on after dinner treats, so Partee Perfection brought in the head honcho of party stations, partystem to set up noshing stations around the room! And never forget to put out customized bags for the kiddies to take home a goodie bag, also by Napkings.
We set up a scrapbooking station for the girls to design pages for a keepsake scrapbook. And I brought in the most talented crafter I know — abbeywolin — to do a paint splatter craft with the girls.
A bottle that is versatile, crisp, a crowd pleaser while still maintaining the allure of a special discovery. Something to really share over the communal taste experience of a good charcuterie and cheese spread. When parts of Italy were ruled by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Trieste was the capital, and a more Germanic culture flourished. This history makes the region and the wine feel like an eclectic mix of the romance of Italy with the cleanness and elegance of Austria. The wine picks up this flavor: When we had our first sip, one thing popped into our mind: Fragrant, focused, textured, and electric, it is medium-bodied, leaning toward medium-plus, its weight and persistence on the palate owing to ripe and balanced fruit, not oak as it is steel fermented and aged.
These characteristics lend themselves particularly well to sips between bites of charcuterie: Proscuitto Di Parma, but you already knew this. The nuttiness of the pistachios, the fat of the salami, and the refreshing zest of the lemon will zing in harmony with every sip.
Piave, produced in the Dolomites near a river of its namesake, is the natural, local pairing for this wine. With a flavor profile similar to Parmigiano, the nuttiness of this cheese will provide a nice contrast to the crispness of the Frulano. Prima Donna cheese is the perfect multicultural pairing for this multicultural wine. Under the SAFEcontractor system, even businesses that have previously received accreditation have to undergo an annual vetting process, which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.
Those companies that continue to meet the high standard are included on the scheme's database.
Employer-organisations who sign up to the scheme can access the database, enabling them to vet potential contractors before they even set foot on site. These employers agree that, as users of the scheme, they will engage only those who have received accreditation.
Over one hundred and fifty major nation-wide businesses, from several key sectors, have signed up to use the scheme when selecting contractors for services such as building, cleaning, maintenance, refurbishment or electrical and mechanical work. As there is no such thing as a 'maintenance free' power supply system, all diesel generators need to be serviced regularly to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently and that their start-up batteries are in good working order. This was clearly demonstrated recently in a major fire that severely damaged industrial units. Fourteen crews from three counties tackled a large fire at an industrial unit in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. The blaze in November at the 4, sq metre premises was well developed by the time firefighters reached the scene, but they managed to save the building from total destruction.
Chris Parker, station commander at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said, "When crews arrived the building was well alight but thanks to some excellent firefighting by crews from three counties, the fire has been confined to around half of the building. All our service and planned maintenance contracts are backed up by our hour call out and support team for prompt response to problems.
However the Company recommends that all generating units are checked on at least a six monthly basis to avoid issues. The accreditation is awarded to companies with excellent environmental management standards.
